City-centre York venues
York's historic centre is beautiful and a little tricky to get a vehicle into. Much of it is pedestrianised footstreets with restricted access hours, and some medieval halls have steps and narrow doorways. We plan the route and a loading time with your venue in advance, so the tuk arrives before guests do.
Riverside and garden venues such as the Hospitium in the Museum Gardens are ideal. We can set up on the lawn in summer or indoors if the weather turns.
Country weddings around York
Most York weddings we're asked about are just outside the city: converted barns, country-house hotels and marquees in the Vale of York and towards the Wolds. These venues usually have easy access and plenty of space, so the tuk can sit right in the middle of the celebrations for guests to find.
Towns around York we cover
Travel is included to Tadcaster, Selby, Easingwold and Pocklington, and to most villages across the Vale of York. Malton and the edge of the Howardian Hills sit close to our 50-mile limit, so we'll confirm travel for venues out that way when you enquire. Wolds venues further east may carry a small supplement, which we'll always quote up front.

Round the back of the tuk for sauces, sprinkles and chocolate pieces. Then come back for seconds.

Is travel to York included?
Yes. York is well within 50 miles of our Leeds base, so travel to the city and the surrounding villages is included in the package price.
Can you get into York city-centre venues?
Often, yes, with some planning. York's footstreets have restricted vehicle hours, so we agree an arrival time with your venue and check the route for steps or narrow gaps before the day.
Can you serve at a York marquee or garden wedding?
Yes. Marquees and gardens are ideal as long as we can drive the tuk close to the spot and there's a mains socket within 15 metres. Many marquee hire firms can add a power point for us.
