The machine makes about two servings a minute, so a two-hour service covers roughly 200–240 servings. That's enough for most weddings, with room for plenty of guests to go back for seconds. For bigger weddings, or if you want the tuk out for day and evening guests, add extra serve time at £100 an hour.

As soon as you have your venue and date. We only have one tuk-tuk, so each date can only be booked once, and summer Saturdays go first. We're already taking bookings for 2027 and 2028.

Usually, yes. The tuk fits through standard double doors, so we often serve inside barns, halls and converted buildings. It can't go up steps or through tight gaps, so tell us about the route when you book and we'll check it with you and your venue.

Yes. Popular extras are personalised tub stickers, printed wafer discs with your names or date, waffle cones and a custom neon sign made for your day. Prices for each are listed on our pricing page.

Yes, we can switch to a vegan-only mix on request so every guest can join in. Several toppings contain common allergens such as milk and gluten, so let us know about any dietary needs when you book and we'll talk you through the options.

We specialise in tuk-tuk ice cream cart hire rather than traditional ice cream van hire. Our converted Italian tuk-tuk is compact enough for most venues and offers a unique, stylish alternative to a classic ice cream van.

We require a 20% deposit of the booking value, with a minimum deposit of £100. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your event. We'll send you a secure payment link once your date is confirmed.

The headline package price covers everything listed under the main package. Optional extras such as waffle cones, custom neon signs, branded tubs, additional serve time, and travel beyond 50 miles are charged separately.

Yes, we can arrive earlier to set up and stay on site after service has finished. This is charged as idle time, where the tuk-tuk is on site and fully set up but not in use. It is a great option if you want the tuk-tuk in place for photos or to keep your event timeline flexible.

The machine is constantly mixing the ice cream and needs a little time to recover between each serving. At full pace it can typically produce around one portion every 30 seconds, although it can be a little slower on extremely hot days. In a two-hour service you can expect roughly 200–240 servings at full capacity. Our package is unlimited, so guests are welcome to come back, but our team may gently enforce a sensible limit per person to keep the queue moving and make sure we don't run out for other guests.

The Ice Cream Tuk is a vehicle, so it can't go up steps, around tight bends or through small gaps. When you book, please tell us about any access restrictions, stairs, long carrying distances or narrow routes so we can plan a safe set-up. We park close to the set-up spot and use ramps to unload, so the area must be safe and traffic-free. If access is unsafe or very different from what was agreed, we may need to use an alternative location or decline to proceed.

Unless you tell us otherwise before your event, we may use photographs of our equipment at your event for marketing and promotional purposes, online and in print. Just let us know in advance if you would prefer us not to.

Children under 14 must have an adult with them around the equipment. We will not serve children excessively for their safety and to ensure fair use for other guests. Our attendants are happy to help younger children by serving them directly rather than letting them operate the machine themselves.

Yes. Ice Cream Tuk Ltd holds £5 million public liability insurance and all our equipment is PAT tested. Many venues ask for these documents before the day, so just let us know and we'll send copies to you or your venue coordinator.

Enough room for the tuk-tuk plus a small queue in front of it. We need a mains socket within 15 metres, and we can't be set up right next to a sound system, because our team need to be able to talk to guests.

No. Ice Cream Tuk is a cashless business and guests never pay on the day. The package is paid in advance by bank transfer, so your guests just help themselves.

Rain doesn't stop the ice cream. We can set up under cover, in a marquee, barn or indoors, as long as there's a mains socket nearby. Only in extreme weather that makes travel or serving unsafe would we need to talk about alternatives.

Travel within 50 miles of Leeds is included, which covers most of Yorkshire and Greater Manchester. We travel further for weddings and corporate events too, and quote the extra mileage when you enquire.
